If you have just become a new dog owner or have brought a Rescue dog home then you will need some where for him/her to sleep. Instead of going out and spending money on a new bed why not make one from your old blankets or curtain materials. It can be easier than you think.   Things you will need : Material - the amount will depend on the size of the dog. A medium size one would require about 2 metres. Now comes the hardest part.  You have to stuff all those bits of soft material inside.  Don't make it too hard.  Make it...

Painted Finches Pair of Cockatiels (often called weiros) Crimson Parrot Beautiful Male Gouldian Finch All these birds were all happily housed in one large aviary except for the pair of Crimson Parrots. These were a new pairing and laid a clutch of eggs that never hatched.  Then we sold our home and had to find new homes for all our beautiful birds. 140x140x160cm Bird Cage Aviary Wooden Coop   Suitable Enclosure for a Parrot, Budgie or even a couple of finches that would enjoy this little House XL Size #Birds   #BirdAviary   #BeautifulBirds #BirdPhotography

Homemade Peanut Butter and Bacon Dog Treats

Image
We need to take more care on what we feed our pets.  So many hidden chemicals are added to the dog food these days that are not good and can be dangerous to their health.  That is why I have been looking for new ways to keep our pets safe.  This recipe does not have anything hidden in it.  We have been giving them to our Blue Heeler and now our Boxer X dog Keizer for years and they had no side effects. Ingredients 1 Cup Smooth P/nut paste ( not crunchy) ¾ cup Non fat milk 1 large egg 2 cups Plain Flour or Wheat flour 1 tablespoon baking powder 1 cup oats rolled or quick oats 2-3 strips bacon. Chopped. Method I used 1 cup SR Flour and either 1 cup bran or wheat germ. I always doubled these amounts so do not have to keep cooking them. Heat oven to 300 Deg. Line two trays with baking paper or sprinkle with flour (but need to dust this off) or you can use silicon baking mats. In a large bowl gently mix the peanut butter, milk and egg together with a large...
